About Andrew
I'm grateful to have spent time in almost all areas of audio engineering, from live FOH sound for 44k+ attendee music festivals, to in-studio commercial record production, video/audio post-production. I’ve spent 9+ years developing a deep understanding of the creative process behind impactful music.
Beyond technical skills, I focus on helping students think like engineers and artists—building their critical listening ability and empowering them to take on the music industry with confidence.

My teaching style focuses & adapts 100% to the student and their personal interests or career trajectory. My goal is to learn where you are in your audio engineering journey, explore your dreams/goals for the future, and structure your lesson plan around you! And if you don't quite know what you want, my lesson plan can provide broad exposure to all forms of audio engineering as we build your foundational knowledge and discover where your passions lie.
Foundational Lesson Plan:
- DAW fundamentals (Ableton/Logic/Pro Tools)
- recording/miking techniques,
- MIDI and sound design,
- mixing (EQ, compression, effects),
- introduction to mastering.
- critical listening, workflow optimization, and real-world industry practices to create and finish professional-quality tracks.
Lessons are for: all ages, pre-college students, those beginning to enter the music industry workforce, and those simply looking to lay a foundation of knowledge to build a career on.
