About Miss Bulbul

About the lesson

I have both a BS and an MS in geology, and I have taught Earth sciences for a long time. I know a lot about different types of geology, including Mineralogy, Petrology, Stratigraphy, Structural Geology, Plate Tectonics, Sedimentology, and Environmental Geology. For seven years, I taught Earth Science at the AP, Honours, and College-Prep levels in high school. I have also taught courses at the college level. During my time as a teacher, I've put together complete lesson plans that focus on geological processes, field skills like identifying rocks and minerals, and reading maps. I am an expert at helping students of all kinds understand difficult ideas like geodynamics, crystallography, and geomorphology. Even though I've loved my fieldwork, I really love being in the classroom. I'm great at breaking down complicated geological ideas and helping student understand how the Earth works. A lot of my students think that geology is just remembering different kinds of rocks and how they are arranged, but I show them that it's also about knowing patterns and how things work.
