My best subject in school was always English. Writing, reading, reports, speaking in front of crowds. I can take a fast and easy approach in this subject because I struggled once too.

About Nicole
My name is Nicole. I graduated high school 9 years ago with a 3.8 GPA average. The subject that was going to hold me back from graduating with my class was English. I struggled with my dyslexia at the time and I was embarrassed because reading or understanding what we just read was really hard for me to get a grasp on. Passages and writing would always make me second guess myself because the question would always sound harder than what it really was in my head. I got a tutor who really worked with me on my reading, assigned me books, word of the day to expand my vocabulary, anything she could do to make sure I succeeded. I would like to say that my teaching techniques are a lot like hers. Work at the students pace, push just the right amount, and succeed.

I'm easy going and very understanding. My teaching method is different from everyone else because I understand what it means to struggle in a subject and need the extra help. I went through it in high school myself and I really adored my tutor. I hope to have the same impact on kids that my tutor had on me.
