About Gus
I am a French and Economics student at Warwick and I am currently on my year abroad working in Québec. I achieved a 9 in GCSE French a year early and a high A in A level French. My mother speaks French so I grew up using the language at home and I enjoy helping others feel confident with it. I have experience teaching English to children in Hungary and this showed me how rewarding it is to support learners and see their progress.
Bonjour, je m’appelle Gus et je propose des cours de français adaptés à tous les niveaux. J’ai grandi avec la langue grâce à ma mère francophone et j’ai vécu à Paris quand j’étais jeune. J’étudie aujourd’hui l’économie et le français à l’Université de Warwick et je fais mon année à l’étranger au Québec. Mes cours sont interactifs et adaptés aux besoins de chaque élève et je cherche toujours à créer une atmosphère détendue et motivante. N’hésitez pas à me contacter pour discuter de vos objectifs. Je propose des cours particuliers d'anglais du niveau débutant avancé au niveau avancé et j'aide les étudiants à améliorer leur expression orale, leur vocabulaire, leur expression écrite et leur confiance en eux. Je peux également aider les apprenants avancés à améliorer la structure de leurs dissertations et à s'exprimer de manière claire et naturelle.

I offer structured and engaging lessons in French and English and I am happy to teach all levels up to and including A level. I keep sessions interactive and make sure students understand every step. Lessons can be between one and two hours depending on the student. I focus on clear explanations and steady improvement and I adapt each session to the learner’s needs whether they want help with grammar, understanding, speaking or confidence. I can conduct lessons mostly in French when immersion is helpful.
