Hi! I’m a fully bilingual French-English speaker from Quebec with real tutoring experience — both as a student tutor in college and now working one-on-one with kids and teens. I’m patient, professional, and always make sure students feel heard, supported, and never judged. Whether we’re working on grammar, homework, or conversation, I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs and make learning fun and approachable. MY APPROACH: As a bilingual French-English speaker from Quebec, I adapt each lesson to the student’s needs, level, and interests. I believe language should be learned through clarity, connection, and confidence — not pressure. TEACHING METHODOLOGY & TECHNIQUES: I use a supportive, patient, and interactive approach. My sessions often include: - Real-life examples (music, pop culture, everyday conversations) - Light grammar explanations (only when needed) - Speaking, listening, and writing practice tailored to the student - Creative exercises to keep lessons engaging - I speak both languages fluently, so I can easily switch between them to explain concepts or offer translations when needed. TYPICAL LESSON PLAN (for a 1-hour session): - Warm-up conversation or review (10 mins) - Skill-building activity (vocabulary, grammar, or reading – 15-20 mins) - Interactive practice (games, questions, or creative writing – 15 mins) - Wrap-up + review + fun homework (10 mins) - Everything is adapted depending on age, level, and goals. WHAT SETS ME APART: I’m young, relatable, and I understand what it’s like to learn a second language. I was also a college tutor, helping other students with homework and translation from English to French. That experience helped me develop a calm, clear, and flexible way of teaching.
