About Annabelle
I grew up in Germany in a bilingual German–English household, where switching between languages was part of everyday life. Since my youth I tutored younger kids in several subjects. Teaching has always played a role at home, as my mother is a teacher, and I’ve benefited from her proven methods, materials, and guidance, which I now bring into my own lessons.

My Experience
I’ve been supporting native and non-native speakers consistently for almost four years now, ranging from school pupils to adults. Over time I’ve developed a flexible teaching style that adapts to the learner, whether it’s grammar foundations, conversational fluency, exam preparation, or confidence building.
How I Teach
My approach is interactive and student-centred: I design lessons around your goals, strengths, and challenges. With a strong focus on both language structure and real-life use, I make sure my students not only learn rules but also feel comfortable and confident using German naturally. I also enjoy bringing cultural context into lessons, which helps students gain a deeper understanding of how German works in everyday life and makes learning just a bit more fun.
For our little ones
I’ve also worked in childcare, so I’m comfortable teaching younger kids and know how to make lessons engaging for them. I’m happy to adjust my rates for children or beginners to make learning more accessible and enjoyable.
