Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English, I have over 10 years of experience as a Chinese teacher, and tutor in K-12 education. I have tutored and taught high school, college students, and adults.

Chang has been a great role model and mentor to me for the last two years! Unlike most teachers, I truly felt that she understood Gen Z and what motivates us to learn. My classmates and I felt comfortable joking with her and poking fun at each other.

Although I’ve been speaking broken Chinese for my whole life, I still learned as much if not more than my non-Chinese classmates in Chang’s class because she always gave me additional resources to push myself. She meets each student where they’re at.

My classmates and I were all so sad to see Chang go. It’s very rare to find a teacher that feels like a bigger sister, role model, and coach all in one.
