About Abby

I have a degree in Spanish and lived experience in Costa Rica and Panama. In Panama, I volunteered in the Peace Corps and held an English club for youth ages 5-18, as well as offered individual English tutoring to adults in the community. This background, as well as my own second-language acquisition, offers me an understanding and competent skill set to assist you on your journey to fluency in Spanish!

About the lesson

I have been both a student and teacher of a second language and have worked with everyone from kindergarteners to adult learners, so I understand that everyone learns differently. My goal is to tailor lessons to each individual's learning style and goals, while emphasizing real-world scenarios and applicable knowledge.
In a lesson with me, you can expect relevant topics, a safe space to learn from mistakes, and dynamic activities that allow retaining of information.
