About Ella
I’m a qualified Primary Education Teacher and have been teaching in schools around Cardiff for the past 3 years. I’m passionate about supporting children in their learning and believe that with the right resources and guidance every child can achieve! I have experience working with EAL children and individuals with additional learning needs. I am confident in a variety of phonics and numeracy schemes that schools across Cardiff use. I am also a fluent Welsh speaker and am confident to run sessions in both Welsh and English.

My lessons are run between 45 minutes to an hour depending on the age, needs and preferences of the learner. I use a variety of resources and interactive learning strategies aiming to engage learners successfully and develop their skills. In the first sessions, a baseline assessment is completed in the chosen subject and will be used to create a series of tailored sessions that focus on specific learning goals. I’m very familiar with the Curriculum for Wales and have an understanding of progression up to PS4 children (Year 9). I also have an understanding of what students need to be capable of in English and Welsh to achieve their GCSEs confidently.
