About Brigitte

Currently, I work for a non-profit organization in education until I begin graduate school. I have been tutoring consistently for the past two years. For the past year, I have had the same students who see me multiple times a week.

My students of all levels have seen improvements in their work (given that they put in the effort on their end as well) and I will gladly provide you with reviews that I have gotten if requested.

On top of my Sociology Bachelor's degree, I also have a DEC in Communication with a certificate in Women and Gender Studies, therefore I can also provide help in these subjects.

About the lesson

I am a very enthusiastic and dynamic tutor because I believe that this is a lot more motivating for students to learn. I believe in being understanding and empathetic to the different needs of my students.

In every aspect of my life, I adopt an anti-oppressive and harm-reductive framework. My work environment should always be a safe space for people of all identities (LGBTQ+, BIPOC, etc.). As a mixed-race queer person, a lot of my sociological research is centred around intersectionality and critical race theory.
