About Nina
I moved to Australia from Taiwan about eight years ago. Before relocating, I taught English to children and teenagers for three years, and that experience brought me a lot of joy and personal growth. Since then, I’ve also taught adults of various ages and levels, from beginners to pre-intermediate learners, at different language schools. Through these experiences, I’ve come to understand how important it is to build a strong foundation when learning a new language. In my lessons, I listen attentively and offer gentle guidance, creating a supportive space where students can grow in confidence and ability.

I taught English to children and teenagers for three years in Taiwan. In Australia, I have five years of experience teaching adults from around the world. My teaching techniques depend on the student and their goals. If you want to focus on conversing fluently, I will listen attentively and give you feedback to help you reflect on your use of the language.
Our attention is finite, so I recommend lessons of 40 minutes to an hour. I welcome students with a Chinese-speaking background who want to practice conversation and strengthen their English foundation.
