I have always been passionate about languages, the endless possibilities of use. I consider all languages to be special, but English turned out to be my second language, since I lived in the United States and the United Kingdom for a while and naturally assimilated this language. I fell in love with authors and literary works, which served as an escape during adolescence. Reading allowed me to imagine and created in me the desire to write too. Perhaps that is why I chose translation as a profession. I started by translating for friends who needed research papers translated into Portuguese, for college work and never stopped. Later, I started teaching English in the context of extra-curricular activities and, at the same time, I tutored students who needed support in the language.
