About Shannon
In the past I have tutored primary school children who struggle with English. My most recent experience entails me working at an all English play school for toddlers where I helped shape their understanding of the English language.

My approach has always been to involve the student in the learnig process, and not just instructing them on what to do but also listening to them and their needs. I do my best to have a practical side to everything that I do. Not everyone learns the same so it is my aim to find out what works for those I am teaching and taking it from there. I prefer instructing those who have not yet been to university or college. In this way I want to play a role in preparing them for a tertiary level education.
