About Mandisa
I am a science student in a private university in South Africa. I have 2years experience with primary and entry level high school learners who have had their English grades improve from an average of 40% to 75%. I also assist in university applications and typing out CV's when needed.

My teaching method is giving out essay topics for the learner to write, which will give me an indication of their understanding of English in terms of use of verbs, nouns, pronouns, adjectives etc. I read and correct mistakes and then it will give me an indication of where the learners weakest points are and I will build up my tutorials from that going down to their strengths. I give out tests, both planned and unprepared tests to keep the brain active and to allow it to work under pressure, applying all that the learner has learnt.
