About Doug
Transitioning from the stage to the classroom happened naturally after years spent performing. I teach travel French and business French to those looking to improve their vocabulary building or pronunciation.
Role play and dialogue practice form the foundation of our work together. Listening practice and focus on nasal sounds round out my approach developed over 5 years of teaching. It has been a steady path.

Fluency feels closer when you start speaking from the very first minute. Sometimes I worry that grammar drills distract from the actual sound of the language. My 312 students currently use mock DELF papers to measure their progress. Detailed feedback is included with every single assignment submitted.
This method emphasizes liaison and flow over static memorization. You will notice the difference in your confidence very quickly. We move through vocabulary in context. Practice is straightforward.
