About Elsa
Playing music has defined my entire life since childhood, and that path eventually led me to 13 years of teaching. Working with piano students, I find that focusing on pedaling technique, hand independence, and music theory creates a solid foundation. We explore pop, contemporary styles, and classical repertoire while refining your chord voicing and ear training. You might also practice memorization techniques and scales and arpeggios, though the exact pace is really up to you.

My approach emphasizes building technique without losing the joy of playing the instrument. I earned my BMus Piano Performance from the Eastman School of Music.
This technical, methodical framework supports your growth. I handle the details so you can focus on the melody.
We will build your accompaniment skills step by step. It is quite rewarding to see the progress. Let us make some music together.
