About Monique
As a child the way my parents would "ground" me was to take away all of my books. So when they took them away I turned to the paper and pen and started writing my own stories.
I would visit other worlds through the books I read and the stories I wrote, what adventures!
Now as a tutor my hope is to walk with you as you do the same.

My lessons are geared toward people of all ages who feel a pull to writing but are stifled by the prompts given in classes, this space is one to let your creativity flow in.
We will spend the first one getting to know each other, making sure we are a good fit for one another while I gain a better understanding of your goals and experience. Gotta know where we're starting from and heading to on this journey we're going to take together before we depart.
Future lessons could include many things:
-Diving into creative writing you've done on your own time
-Working through a writers block together
-Character development
-Basic Proofreading
- Dissecting a book you're reading
-I'll be a board to spring your ideas off of/give feedback if you desire
SO MANY OPTIONS!! The possibilities are endless!
My teachings will occasionally touch on basic grammar/English, but that will never be the primary focus.
All of our lessons will go at your pace as it is your adventure, thank you for considering me as company!
