About Waleria

I was always passionate about different cultures and keen on learning new languages. This passion carried me through my education in Poland where I graduated from the University of Warsaw with a BA in Applied Linguistics. My biggest dream of living abroad suddenly became true, when in 2018 I moved to London and completed my MA in Specialised Translation the following year.
I see any language as a tool to get closer to other people, discover their culture, break stereotypes, and expand personal borders.
I know from experience that moving abroad or living in a foreign country can feel hopeless sometimes. That's why it is so important to build strong language foundations and confidence.

When you stop being afraid of speaking and really start mastering that language, you will find opportunities you would have never been given otherwise.

About the lesson

My methodology is based on communicative approach to help develop fluency through communicating in the language rather than analysing it. I always ask about my students' interests and use them when selecting topics for discussion which increases chances of better understanding of the language and simply makes learning process more attractive and enjoyable. My classes include activities where we work out problems or situations by composing dialogs, answering questions, making requests, describing and negotiating.
Thanks to this approach students become active participants and learn accurate speech naturally.

Deadly! Really enjoying the lessons provided by my tutor Waleria. The lessons are being tailored to my needs focusing on conversation as well as grammar.
