About Coral

I am a Clinical and Forensic Psychology doctoral trainee with extensive experience working within secure psychiatric services for both children and adults. Throughout my training, I have supported men and women with a wide range of mental health needs, as well as individuals with complex offending behaviours.

My role involves delivering psychological therapy, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, and providing training to multidisciplinary staff teams. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of how psychological theory is applied in real-world clinical settings, allowing me to bring psychology to life beyond the classroom.

Alongside my clinical work, I have developed strong academic and professional writing skills through producing high-quality psychological reports and assessments. I also have published research experience and specialise in qualitative research methods, giving me a solid understanding of research design, critical analysis, and academic writing.

I am passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential in psychology. I understand that the subject can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when it comes to research methods, evaluation, essay writing, and exam technique. My goal is to make psychology engaging, accessible, and enjoyable while helping students build confidence in their knowledge and abilities.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether you're looking to improve your understanding of key psychological theories, strengthen your essay-writing skills, or boost your confidence ahead of exams.

As a Clinical and Forensic Psychology doctoral trainee, I have extensive experience studying and applying psychology at an advanced level. I break down complex topics into clear, manageable concepts and use a supportive, encouraging teaching style to help students develop both knowledge and confidence.

Lessons can focus on:
Understanding psychological theories, studies, and research methods
Exam technique and answering assessment questions effectively
Essay structure and critical evaluation skills
Revision planning and study strategies
Targeted support in areas students find particularly challenging

I aim to create a relaxed and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding at their own pace. Whether you're aiming to improve your grades, prepare for upcoming exams, or deepen your interest in psychology, lessons will be tailored to help you achieve your goals.

I offer support for A-Level Psychology students of all abilities and am happy to adapt sessions to suit different exam boards and learning styles.
