About Jia
I am a native Mandarin speaker born and raised in Beijing, and a graduate of King’s College London. Having experienced both Chinese and British cultures, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and communicating with confidence. I want to teach Chinese because I enjoy helping people connect with the language beyond textbooks, through real conversation, culture, and practical everyday use. My goal is to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and confident to improve at their own pace.
