About Juan

I am a sophomore at the New Jersey Institute of Technology with a double major in Applied Mathematics and Physics. I recently started a YouTube channel, "Marin Maths", with the intent to create content related to Calculus and Physics so that any high school or college students taking classes of that sort can benefit from it while having fun as well. Math is the language of Physics, so both can provide a beautiful description of the phenomena of the universe that gets more detailed the more you...study. My heritage is Colombian. I have only been in the US for about 8 years looking forward to open my mind to the vast ocean of discovery and experience ahead.

I am very well versed in everything regarding to mathematics below and including Multivariable Calculus. I am very passionate about physics and I am well versed in everything below and including Optics and Electricity and Magnetism. I have tutored many students of all ages, particularly high school and college students. I am a certified tutor at an online tutoring site having done more than 200 Lessons with a 96% satisfaction rate. I previously tutored for Mt. Zion Zone LLC at a public library in West New York NJ as well for a year. I guarantee your satisfaction with the subject in question.

My tutoring style is very rigorous. I make sure to make a distinction between knowing and understanding. Especially if we are doing physics. Many students come with physics questions to find formulas only to end up with a totally different and unexpected answer. I teach you how to think not just how to solve problems.

About the lesson

I tend to follow the Feynman way of teaching. If I cannot explain it simply then I do not understand it. Feynman was a renowned professor of physics and important contributor to the physics realm.
I love good communication between my clients and I. That way I know what are their needs.
