About Sally
I have been teaching math and mandarin for 1 year. I started by teaching mandarin in a small private classroom after I graduated from high school. I taught two classes to grade schoolers ranging from elementary to middle school. My students' could speak and read basic mandarin after my teaching. I have also been a math tutor in teaching students specific methods to help them improve their understanding of math problems.

I graduated in UC Davis as math education major (BS degree). I have experiences as a math tutor by tutoring elementary math. I also have experiences as a Mandarin teacher in a small classroom. I enjoy teaching students and helping them to be successful. I make specific teaching plans to each student based on different levels. I do not give students answers but point out their problems and help them understand each question. I emphasis on learning methods by practicing worksheets of increasing difficulty, focus on each student's weakest parts and point out the key of solving problems. Excellent knowledge of curriculum, both in Mandarin and Mathematics of all levels. I was born in China, Mandarin is my first language, so I am very good at teaching all levels of Mandarin.
