About Carolina
I’m a Brazilian living in Ireland, and Portuguese is my native language. I have a professional background in office management, which has given me strong communication, organization and interpersonal skills, as well as plenty of experience working with people from different backgrounds.
I love sharing my language because Brazilian Portuguese is so much more than grammar and vocabulary. It’s a language full of personality, expressions, humor and culture. I want my students to learn how Brazilians actually speak, not just how Portuguese looks in a textbook.
My lessons are relaxed, practical and personalized. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, interests and goals, whether they want to prepare for a trip to Brazil, communicate with a Brazilian partner, family or friends, understand Brazilian culture, or simply become more confident speaking Portuguese.
I believe you learn a language best when you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and having real conversations. My goal is to create that kind of environment while helping you make genuine progress from lesson to lesson.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or already know some Portuguese, I’ll help you turn what you know into language you can actually use.

English
Whether you are starting from scratch, planning a trip to Brazil, have a Brazilian partner or family, or simply want to learn the language and understand Brazilian culture, I can help you develop your Portuguese in a relaxed and practical way.
My lessons are adapted to your goals, level and learning style. We can focus on:
* ️ Conversation and speaking confidence
* Brazilian Portuguese pronunciation and vocabulary
* Grammar explained in a simple and practical way
* ️ Portuguese for travelling in Brazil
* Everyday conversations and expressions
* Brazilian culture, music and everyday language
* Portuguese for work and professional situations
* Complete beginners who have never studied Portuguese before
I believe that learning a language should be useful and enjoyable, rather than feeling like you’re memorising endless grammar rules.
Lessons can be structured around real-life situations, allowing you to start using Portuguese from the very beginning.
My teaching style
I’m patient, friendly and encouraging, and I adapt each lesson to the student. If you already speak some Portuguese, we can focus on improving your fluency and correcting the areas where you need more confidence.
For beginners, I’ll guide you step by step and make sure you understand not only what to say, but also how Brazilians actually speak in everyday life.
The goal is simple: to help you feel comfortable communicating in Brazilian Portuguese.
Lessons are available online, with flexible scheduling.
