About Evander
I am a professional singing tutor with more than 7 years of experience teaching students from schools, colleges, and professional workplaces. My aim is to help students improve their vocal abilities, gain confidence, and enjoy the process of learning music. I believe singing is both a technical skill and an art form, and my lessons focus on building technical proficiency while encouraging creativity and self-expression.
My teaching approach is interactive, practical, and student-centred. I teach vocal techniques including breath control, pitch accuracy, tone modulation, and vocal projection. I also cover music theory, rhythm, sight-reading, and performance skills such as stage presence, expression, and audience engagement. Lessons combine structured exercises with real-life examples to ensure effective and enjoyable learning.
I tailor lessons to each student’s level and goals. Beginners are guided with patience to develop foundational skills, while advanced learners are coached to refine technique, prepare for performances, and overcome challenges such as stage anxiety or vocal strain. I emphasise consistent practice, structured guidance, and measurable progress tracking.
My mission is to create a positive, supportive, and inspiring environment where students feel confident exploring their voice, gaining technical mastery, and developing a lifelong passion for singing and music.

My teaching methodology for Singing is student-centred, practical, and confidence-building. I use real-life examples and case studies from songs, live performances, and everyday voice use to make vocal techniques understandable and relatable.
I teach with empathy, recognising that singing can feel personal and emotional, and I create a safe space for students to experiment and improve. My flexible teaching style allows lessons to be adjusted according to each student’s progress, vocal ability, and goals.
Clear communication ensures that students understand every technique clearly, and I provide regular feedback for improvement. Using a problem-solving approach, I help students address vocal challenges such as pitch, breath control, and tone quality.
Along with Singing, I also teach relevant subjects such as music fundamentals, rhythm, ear training, vocal care, and performance skills.
