About Breindel
I am currently finishing up my A-levels in Maths, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. And yes I know, I'm not doing A-level English and yes my only qualification in English is GCSE, where I achieved 93% (grade 9) in Literature and 88% (grade 9) in English Language but I'm really good at it and my students think so too. I understand that the first few lessons might be fresh and anew so I tend to take 5 minutes to get to know my students before I begin a session. Playing English Mafia quickly between a group for 5 minutes to kick off the session. I am an artist (grade 9 in GCSE Art) and a hospital volunteer in my free time too.

I teach English Language and English Literature GCSE. I use random writing techniques in which I would ask the student to write stories about random things to see how far their creativity has come and for literature I tend to use online flashcards and quotation explosions (diving deep into quotes and analysing them). My lessons are 1 hour long and I allow 5-10 mins at the end for any extra enquiries the student may have. My lessons are mainly for GCSE students so ages 14-16 but I don't mind teaching younger kids a few things.
