About Grace
With 4 years of teaching and music experience, I am a drum tutor dedicated to helping students grow with confidence, creativity, and strong technique. Teaching school to college students gives me the opportunity to guide young learners at important stages of their lives. One milestone that remains close to my heart was preparing a group of students for a live jazz performance. It challenged them to explore new rhythms, and their performance was a moment of pride for all of us. I have also supported many beginners in building basics that later helped them perform with ease. My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, slow demonstrations, and steady practice routines. I teach rhythm accuracy, hand technique, tempo control, and stage confidence. I also introduce different genres so students can discover what style they enjoy most. For me, teaching drum is a meaningful journey where I get to inspire learners, support their goals, and celebrate their achievements. My mission is to help students discover the joy of drumming and grow into confident musicians.

My teaching methodology for Drums is built around Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. My lessons help students understand rhythm deeply while keeping learning simple, positive, and structured. Motivation plays a major role. I set achievable goals, include fun exercises, and celebrate every improvement. This keeps students excited and motivated to practise regularly. Communication makes lessons clear. I explain concepts in simple English, demonstrate slowly, and give step-by-step guidance. Students are encouraged to ask questions whenever they need. Integrity shapes the classroom environment. I offer honest, supportive feedback and teach proper technique, timing, and posture. I focus on real progress through disciplined practice. Creativity brings joy to drumming. I help students experiment with grooves, create patterns, and try styles like funk, pop, rock, and jazz. Rhythm reading, coordination drills, and timing exercises are part of every lesson. Besides Drums, I teach rhythm basics, percussion fundamentals, tempo skills, and music foundation concepts to support full musical development.
