About Thomas

Former university lecturer with over 15 years of teaching experience, specialising in English language instruction and exam preparation. I hold an academic degree in English and have helped many students improve their fluency and achieve strong results in exams such as IELTS. My teaching focuses on clear explanations, practical communication, and structured progress.

About the lesson

My passion for learning strongly influences the way I teach. I aim to create an engaging environment where students develop the same curiosity and motivation to improve their English. I understand that many learners feel frustrated when they are asked to follow rules without clear purpose, so I encourage students to question, analyse, and actively participate in their learning process.

I believe language learning should be dynamic and creative rather than purely passive. My lessons combine trusted textbooks such as Bond and New Headway with my own supplementary materials, modern online resources, and effective techniques such as spaced repetition.

I also have extensive experience preparing students for major English examinations. Lessons are always adapted to each student’s level, objectives, and target score to ensure efficient and focused progress.
