About Daniel
My name is Daniel and I am a native English speaker from the United Kingdom - a small town just outside London to be precise. I am a fully certified TEFL teacher, with a Level 5 Diploma, and I also hold a BSc in Environmental Science. I am an avid traveller and have spent a lot of time both living and working in foreign countries, particularly in Asia and Africa. Aside from teaching English, I am a certified project manager by profession, and have recently worked in the up and coming Electric Vehicle charging sector. I also speak Swahili as a second language at an intermediate conversational level!

As a teacher I aim to be as open and as flexible as possible. I believe it is crucial to fully understand a student's requirements and current level from our first meeting to ensure that the teaching material can be fully tailored for the student. Understanding my students' learning styles is equally important. I will always semi-prepare lessons in advance although I avoid working to rigid guidelines and formats as I believe that this stifles learning and creativity.
