About Chloe
I'm qualified in TESOL and I taught English in Spain for 9 months in 2015-2016. I also spent 2 months as an au pair for a Spanish family in which I helped their 2 daughters with their English skills. Before I was employed as an au pair the family employed me to help their daughter with her speaking exams and homework. She passed all of her exams with significant marks. I have taught up to 60 people in one lesson as I was giving lectures/seminars at the University of Cordoba. All of my students passed their exams despite some having difficulty with their pronunciation. As part of my degree I had to teach a number of students from different nationalities and levels of English and create activities to improve their English. Additionally in my final year of university I held a languages club workshop in a secondary school in the UK with four other students from my course in which we taught a number of languages, I personally taught Spanish so if you have any interest in learning Spanish this is also something I can help with

I'm a patient teacher that spends a lot of time helping my students with consolidating the language they are learning. I include a number of different teaching methods in my classes/sessions. I like to use visual/audio cues to introduce new vocabulary, I will then input this into individual/group work to consolidate this with grammar including written/listening activities, gap fill. I will then ask students to tell me about their experiences and test them on their knowledge of what they have learnt. I gear my lessons to the needs of my students, in terms of what you want to learn.
