• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  During my childhood, I was not much keen on learning Hindi and just learnt it for the sake of studying and scoring good marks. But around class 4 or 5, I met a Hindi teacher who taught us brilliantly and helped us discover new aspects of the language. I formed an interest in Hindi since that time and excelled in the subject.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  When I was young I used to be very much fascinated by my teachers and their style. I used to practice playing the role of a teacher and told my parents to be my students. I always wanted to be a teacher since childhood just like most of the girl child do and so now I am on my way to pursue my dream . Moreover my motivation behind teaching is my mother who taught me very nicely.

• How does your work help society?

  I think my small effort may help the society "by spreading education", to small children as well as aged people who still didn't lose their interest to learn some more, which is one of the most important thing in everyone's life.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  My role model was, is and will always be my MOTHER. She was the one who taught me how to speak and write when I knew nothing. She is the best teacher I ever had. She used to teach me so fluently that even the most difficult subjects became very easy to me.

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Outside teaching, my hobbies are dancing and doing art and craft.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  There are many incidents which took place during my student as well as professional life. Among those I would like to share with you all a small incident that took place during my student life. School life shall always remain one of the most precious period of my life. On a certain day when I was about to pass out of lass IV, my principal called me to her room. I was really scared initially. I was surprised to see that she handed me a letter and congratulated me. I still didn't know what was written in that letter. As soon as the day at school was over, I handed it to my mother and she found out that it was my 'Scholarship Letter'. She was overjoyed as it was my first achievement. Thereon, I continued to receive many awards and certificates but this shall always remain in my heart.
