About Sinan
I have tutored and taught private clients, and as a tutor and teaching assistant in primary and secondary schools for the last 4 years and have a lot of resources, especially for A Level exam preparation.
I tailor my tutoring to suit the needs of the child and have experience of working with very diverse young people – from young autistic learners who require very structured instruction, to Oxbridge, Imperial and LSE candidates looking to put the star on their A grade. I also have experience of tutoring groups of 2-6 students at the same time.
I am able to support with homework completion, deliver resources provided by schools, or prepare my own. I will always start a meeting with a new client by bringing them a proposed programme of study so that we are always aligned about our long-term goals.
I am also happy to help with university preparation, ranging from course advice to Personal Statement support, especially for aspiring Economists, Mathematicians, and Business-related applications

Due to academic performance, I won a scholarship to study Economics at the LSE. I believe my academic performance was driven mainly by strategy rather than any innate ability. It is both the fundamental theoretical understanding of Economics and the practical strategies of exam performance that I aim to teach my students. The former lays the foundation for success, whereas the latter cements it.
Success in your academics will come from the combination of competence and experiencing success.
My lesson structures will vary depending on topic and also, the specific needs of the individual student. However, a proportion of every single lesson will be dedicated to testing the student's understanding of the relevant material through past exam questions.
I have a huge amount of resources gathered through my own personal studies and the various tutoring jobs I have had that will ensure that every student will have the toolkit to maximise their academic performance.
