About Anchen
I am currently in my final year of a bachelor of science degree majoring in Biochemistry and Microbiology. My degree has equipped me with the knowledge required to teach biology and science related subjects as well as Maths, having completed Maths at university level in my first year. I am bilingual in English and Afrikaans and recieved excellent marks for my languages throughout my schooling career. I have been tutoring the aforementioned subjects privately over the last three years.

I believe in an interactive approach when teaching students to ensure that they are fully engaged at all times. I also encourage creativity when teaching to aid with the understanding of challenging topics for example, integrating topics and the interests of the student, drawing and making use of acronyms to enhance memory.
