About Catherine
I am a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English graduate with practical experience in classroom teaching, private tutoring, and literacy support. I have experience working with learners of different needs and learning paces, and I believe that effective teaching should be patient, supportive, and engaging. I use learner-centered strategies and adapt my lessons to help students understand concepts clearly and build confidence in using English. I have also completed a 120-hour TEFL course, strengthening my knowledge of English language teaching. My lessons are personalized, engaging, and adapted to each learner’s needs, level, and learning pace. As a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English graduate with tutoring and classroom teaching experience, I focus on helping students develop their English skills with confidence.
Lessons may include reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, writing, speaking, and academic support. I use learner-centered activities, guided practice, examples, questions, and interactive exercises to make lessons easier to understand and enjoyable.

A typical lesson begins with a short review or warm-up, followed by the main lesson and guided practice, then an activity or application task and a brief review at the end. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students can learn at their own pace and gradually become more confident in using English.
