  • 1) When did you start your personal development? What motivated this choice?

I began my personal development journey over 15 years ago when I entered the field of therapeutic recreation and behavior support. Working with diverse individuals taught me early on that self-awareness and emotional regulation are the foundation for helping others. My motivation came from wanting to empower people—especially those who felt misunderstood or limited—to see their own potential and thrive. Personal development became both my career and my passion.
  • 2) Describe your own understanding of "personal development" and what can it bring in the short and long-term?

To me, personal development means intentional growth—learning to manage your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in ways that align with your goals and values.
In the short term, it brings clarity and confidence. You start responding instead of reacting. In the long term, it builds resilience, purpose, and the ability to lead a balanced, fulfilling life. It’s not about perfection—it’s about progress that compounds over time.
  • 3) What are some practical tips to help improve self-confidence?

Set small, realistic goals and celebrate each win—momentum builds confidence.

Use positive self-talk the way you would encourage a friend.

Practice competence before confidence—skills grow through repetition.

Surround yourself with supportive people who reflect your potential, not your fears.

Take action even when uncertain. Confidence is built through doing, not waiting to feel ready.
  • 4) Do you think a teacher can learn from his students? Is there a lesson where you have experienced this?

Absolutely. Every client and student I’ve worked with has taught me something valuable about patience, adaptability, and human nature. One memorable moment was working with a nonverbal client who reminded me that communication isn’t always about words—it’s about presence, creativity, and connection. That experience deepened my appreciation for listening beyond language.
  • 5) What personalities do you admire; who represents personal and professional success in your opinion?

I admire people who lead with integrity and compassion—those who turn adversity into advocacy. Figures like Temple Grandin and Brené Brown inspire me because they bridge science and empathy, transforming vulnerability and difference into strength. To me, true success means making a positive impact while remaining authentic.
  • 6) What are your hobbies and what benefits do they have on your motivation?

I love outdoor recreation—kayaking, hiking, and beach walks—as well as creative projects like journaling and event design. These activities keep me grounded and remind me to practice what I teach: balance, mindfulness, and joy through purposeful leisure. They refill my energy so I can show up fully for others.
  • 7) Who are your classes for, specifically? Is this domain open to all?

My sessions are open to everyone—students, professionals, parents, and individuals with or without diagnoses—who want to strengthen communication, confidence, and emotional balance. I specialize in supporting neurodiverse and differently-abled populations while also working with anyone seeking structure, direction, and growth. Inclusivity is central to everything I do.
  • 8) Being a Superprof requires some adaptability. Tell us about your methods for adapting to different individuals.

Adaptability is at the core of my work. I start by assessing each person’s learning style, communication preferences, and goals. From there, I tailor sessions using visuals, activities, or discussion-based methods that match their strengths. Whether someone thrives on structure or needs a more flexible, conversational approach, I adjust my methods to make every session engaging, accessible, and empowering.
