About Amaya

I’m a French tutor with over 3 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Arts in French with a Concentration in European Cinema. My lessons are immersive and conversational, designed to make learning feel like a real-life culinary journey. I specialize in helping students practice French through gastronomy and culture. We explore vocabulary for ingredients, cooking techniques, and restaurant etiquette in context. You’ll learn how to speak like a native — while talking about food, wine, and dining experiences.
