About Kim
Hi, I’m a business English coach with a strong corporate background. I help professionals improve their English for real workplace communication, including meetings, presentations, interviews, and client-facing situations. I have coached executives and professionals at companies such as Hyundai, KCC Silicone, KT&G, NH Investment, Sanofi, VoyagerX, and Varex Imaging, which has exposed me to a broad range of industries and business environments. My lessons are tailored for professionals who want to strengthen their English for real workplace communication. Rather than teaching English in a general or academic way, I focus on practical, high-value communication skills that clients can use immediately in business settings.
Lessons are customized to each client’s needs, but a typical session may include speaking practice, targeted correction, vocabulary and phrasing improvement, and coaching around real tasks such as meetings, presentations, interviews, leadership communication, or client-facing discussions. I also place strong emphasis on clarity, tone, confidence, and executive presence in English.
What makes my approach different is my strong corporate background and business-focused perspective. I understand the communication challenges professionals face and help clients develop English that is not only accurate, but polished, effective, and appropriate for high-stakes situations.
These lessons are best suited to adult professionals, managers, directors, and other business-focused learners, especially those at the intermediate to advanced level who want more than general conversation practice. Lessons are available on a 1:1 basis or group lessons of up to 10 students (ask for pricing).
