About Hilda

I am an HVAC draftsperson. I have worked for consulting and contracting mechanical companies since 1999. During the past 20 years, I have worked in active construction sites such as shopping malls, hospitals, airports, office blocks, universities, private homes... where I would be going in to check on the air-conditioning installation progress, take measurements, attend progress and construction meetings, so I have been exposed to all facets of the construction environment. I use both AutoCAD and Revit to draw. Now I am a freelancer and have time to tutor others.

About the lesson

For the past 20 years I have been in the consulting, contract air-conditioning drafting environment, what I enjoyed the most was mentoring young draftsmen and engineers coming into the field. I have the patience to work with anyone. I coach, tutor, encourage, motivate and will try different methods to do something until we get it the way that works out easier and best for you. My job is to make sure that you get into this career with all the skills and the confidence you require.
