About Vittoria

I'm a university student with a strong passion for languages and teaching. I'm studying abroad and speak Spanish and English in addition to English and Italian. I hold a Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE) certification, achieving the highest score, and I use English daily, including in my international university studies.

I have experience teaching English and Italian privately and work with students of different ages and levels. This has taught me the importance of adapting your teaching method to the person you're teaching: not everyone learns the same way, and I always try to create a calm, positive environment free of fear of making mistakes.

I'm patient, helpful, and organised. I enjoy building trust with my students and seeing their progress, whether their goal is to improve their grades, gain more confidence in conversation, build on the basics, or prepare for a certification.

Having studied several foreign languages myself, I'm also well-versed in the challenges of learning a new language, and I strive to share strategies that make learning more intuitive, effective, and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My lessons are customized based on each student's level, goals, and learning difficulties. My method combines grammar, conversation, comprehension, and written expression, with a focus on practical use of English and confidence in speaking it.

During a typical lesson, we begin with a short conversation or review session, then focus on the day's main topic. I alternate clear explanations and exercises with more interactive activities, such as guided conversations, reading and audio comprehension, vocabulary building, and real-life simulations. I try to use English as much as possible during the lesson, while adapting to the student's level.

For those wishing to prepare for a Cambridge exam, I can work in a more structured manner on the different sections of the exam, with targeted exercises and a focus on the skills required for PET (B1), FCE (B2), and CAE (C1).

I believe that learning a language isn't just about memorizing grammatical rules: my goal is to help students understand its mechanisms and, above all, feel increasingly natural and confident in using it. That's why I tailor materials, pace, and methods to each individual's personal interests and learning style.

Lessons are designed for children, teens, and adults, from beginner to C1 levels, whether to improve general English and conversation skills, or for academic remediation, reinforcement, or preparation for Cambridge exams.
