About James
I'm a passionate writer, coffee-lover and degree graduate with two years teaching experience, one of which was in East Africa. I love engaging with students to make what they study come alive, not just drab words on a page. As a tutor associated with a Dorset school, I helped three students from a lower set prepare for their English language GCSEs, and loved witnessing their breakthrough moments.

My lessons are dynamic, created to let the life come from the text we're studying. We'll engage with the material, look at the context of the passages, and what the author is trying to create. I aim to engage with the student, working with their strengths and fine-tuning their answers to get those higher marks in the exams. Work with me if you want a fun, dynamic approach to learning and one that's sure to pay off in their results!
