About Romy Olivia
I first realised teaching was what I wanted to do whilst on an internship in Berlin. Later, I was backpacking and came across a village in Laos and volunteered teaching up to sixty students of all ages every day.
Then, I completed a CELTA qualification with ILSC Montreal. Since then, I’ve been teaching at Fun Learning English, Netherlands.
I believe that speaking English opens doors to opportunities worldwide, and I’m committed to providing you with the tools you need to access these.

I’m Romy, a passionate native-English tutor with a student-centred approach to teaching. I create engaging lessons that are tailored to your needs and specific learning style. My teaching methodology emphasises putting the language into real-life contexts, giving you enough time to practise and providing feedback on errors. With a CELTA qualification and experience in various teaching contexts including being an English teacher in the Netherlands for over two years, I am competent in delivering lessons across all levels and age groups.
