Lucy was an excellent English teacher during her time volunteering with UmRio, where she worked with children and young people from underserved communities in Rio de Janeiro.

She was incredibly committed and professional throughout her time with us. She carefully planned each lesson, created her own engaging resources and adapted her teaching to the different ages, abilities and needs of her students. She was also exceptionally adaptable, able to work effectively in challenging teaching environments, often with limited resources, while remaining creative, positive and focused on achieving results.
