About Jacqueline
"Piano keys first captured my interest as a small child before I eventually earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. You likely struggle with keeping your hands separate when starting complex pieces. After 13 years of performing, I found that theory and practice must walk hand in hand.
I have mentored 485 students ranging from intermediate learners to advanced teens. My 5 years of experience allows me to spot where your technique creates tension. We will work steadily toward your personal musical milestones."

"Sitting at the bench usually feels like a quiet conversation between you and the instrument. Truthfully, the most difficult part of piano is learning to read two staves at once.
I assign weekly practice modules to ensure your skills in sight reading and ear training stay sharp. My approach utilizes dynamics and expression to elevate basic sight playing into a performance.
Since I have 5 years of experience, I know how to explain hand independence without causing frustration. We incorporate music theory so you understand the architecture of your favorite pieces. Memorization techniques are integrated into every single session. We finish with a quick review of your sight transposition exercises."
