About Jessica
I am a descriptivist instructor not a prescriptivist so no pressure to follow a rigid standard. Just jamming on songs you enjoy until you find your voice. Mastering the top ten most used chords and playing in key with your unique voice as well as writing lyrics that give new life to your artistic agency is one of the most fun things you will ever do. We'll play open mics too if you’re down! I have contacts at venues to hear your sound as well once you feel confident enough in your authentic voice.

It will be super low pressure and fun! I’ll teach you your favorite modern songs from your favorite artists and the craft of songwriting. I have 2 albums of original indie/folk/rock songs I wrote and can share the best practices for keeping up the momentum and using this powerful form of self-expression as catharsis (my word) and empowerment.
