About Saxon

Recently completed the HSC at St. Francis Xavier's College, Hamilton.
Achieved:
- 1st in Modern History
- 3rd in Studies of Religion
- Top 10 Advanced English
- German Continuers completion by Distance Education
- Academic Excellence Award

I have experience tutoring as well as experience in teaching through multiple years of swim teaching / coaching.

About the lesson

My teaching method is to work with the student to find problems and difficult areas to work on rather than merely pouring over countless exercises. Having recently completed the HSC, not only is the high school content acutely fresh in my mind (with up to date notes), I also understand the difficulties and demands of current students, and can help through explaining my own experiences in guiding past these difficulties. I also believe that constant practice is crucial in achieving, and thus my sessions will provide students not only the opportunity to understand new topics, but incorporate previously learnt ideas into their studies.
