About Nicholas
"Teaching feels natural after spending so much time on stage and in the studio. Honestly, I find that my background really helps keep the technical side of things grounded in actual music. I hold an Artist Diploma in Piano Performance from the Queensland Conservatorium and have clocked 8 years of experience in the industry.
My focus remains on pedaling technique, hand independence, and music theory. I also cover pop and contemporary styles alongside classical repertoire and essential memorization techniques. I hope we can identify exactly which of these areas will help you reach your specific musical destination."

"You will find that your first session focuses on getting comfortable behind the keys. We spend the initial 10 minutes assessing your current level of ear training and chord voicing.
I draw on my 8 years of experience to ensure your training remains practical. Scales and arpeggios form the foundation of our work together.
I provide custom sheet music arrangements for songs students choose to keep things engaging. You will receive clear guidance on accompaniment skills during every single meeting.
Expect a focus on how your hands interact with the instrument. My approach is designed to ensure you hear clear progress early on. You can count on a steady rhythm during our time together."
