About Monica
Many beginners struggle to coordinate their left and right hands during double stops. It is true that even the simplest passages can feel like a mountain to climb when your rhythm is not quite steady. We will examine your posture and hold during the first few minutes of our time together.

Do you find yourself wondering how to navigate the complexities of classical violin technique? I hold an ARCT diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music and have dedicated 13 years to teaching music. My violin training was primary at Schulich while I also studied voice and guitar. I regularly work with absolute beginners and kids alongside adults and performance focused students.
Teaching requires patience, a gentle touch, and clear communication. I emphasize proper posture and hold as the foundation for every student. Developing your vibrato, shifting positions, and refined bowing technique requires a consistent practice environment. We can also integrate ear training and rhythm studies to ensure you grow as a well rounded musician.
