About Katrina
My name is Katrina Choi and I am from Hong Kong. I studied about music production in the UK before. I am a helpful and a positive person. I teach Cantonese because some of my friends want to learn this language so I started to help them to learn. In this case, I understand the difficulty of learning this new language, especially for the English native speaker. Because of this, I can help you to learn this language in an easier way.

I have my own teaching material which is for the basic. In the first class, I want to know the reason that you want to know Cantonese so that I can make a learning plan for you. Everyone can have a different learning method as you all have different hobbies. For example, if you like music, I will use some songs to teach you.
All I want to do is teaching you all at least the basic Cantonese which means you can speak to the native people.

Katrina is a wonderful tutor. She puts forth a lot of effort to take your individual questions and needs, then creates individual lesson plans just for you. She is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The class has a relaxed environment, and I am surprised by how much easier learning Cantonese has been with Katrina as my tutor. She also gives homework that is tailored to our lessons, and records herself speaking at slow and fast speeds to help practice listening. I can’t recommend her enough!
