About Cara
I am currently a second year student at the University of Leeds studying a joint honours degree in Ancient History and History. I achieved high grades in all of my A Levels including an A* in English Literature.
I am incredibly passionate about English and this passion makes me an ideal tutor in the subject. I'm an avid reader and a big believer that if you're not you just haven't found the right book yet! I understand English can be a daunting subject for some and I aim to teach in a way that makes it not only less daunting but fun too.

I have experience working alongside children in KS1 and KS2, volunteering in an after school club and supporting educational visits. I believe in creating a friendly and relaxed environment for students in order to maximise their potential. I cater my lessons to accommodate any goals or worries that the student might want to address, and my lesson plans remain flexible in case the student wants to focus on a particular issue that week. I offer a free 20 minute session to have a quick chat with the student and introduce myself and then after that 60 minute lesson as often as required.
