About Lashitha

As a speaker of multiple languages, English has always been my favourite language, my whole education right from Kindergarten has been in English. In my mid-twenties, while I was volunteering for a reforestation project, interacting with different nationalities, I realised how much I enjoyed helping non-English speakers learn the language and speak colloquial English . Then in 2010 I went on to get certified in CELTA, making it official. Since then I've been passionately teaching English, and I love being of service this way.

About the lesson

During our first session it's important for me to get familiar with your language needs and objectives, so I can tailor your lessons accordingly. I will set your sessions at a pace that's comfortable for you while making it a fun and engaging time!

A typical session will be for an hour but we can adjust the length of the sessions based on your requirements. We will focus on what's needed for enhancing your language skills; covering grammar, pronunciation, punctuation, and vocabulary that's useful in speaking and understanding colloquial English, along with reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills as required. In every session you'll progressively learn what's productive, practical, which will enhance your fluency, and you will find yourself making clear and steady progress. I offer sessions for all age groups and background. And together we'll make learning fun and interactive! :)
