About Valentina

Hi! I’m Valentina, a CELTA-certified English teacher with experience teaching students from different backgrounds and age groups, both online and in the classroom. I have taught English learners in Italy and through online platforms, helping students develop their speaking skills, confidence, and overall communication abilities.

My background in Speech, Language and Hearing Science has given me a deeper understanding of language development and effective communication, allowing me to adapt my lessons to each student’s individual needs and goals. I believe that learning a language should be practical, enjoyable, and focused on real communication.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing guitar, reading, baking, exercising, and exploring music, movies, and pop culture. I love learning about different cultures and finding ways to connect with students through their own interests. I often incorporate engaging, real-life topics into my lessons to make English practice feel natural and meaningful.

Whether you are looking to improve your conversation skills, pronunciation, grammar, or overall confidence in English, I’m excited to help you reach your goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.

About the lesson

I use a student-centered, communicative approach focused on building confidence and practical English skills. My lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, level, and learning style, with a focus on speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and real-world communication.

A typical lesson includes a warm-up conversation, introduction of a language goal, guided practice through activities or discussions, and personalized feedback. I use interactive techniques to help students actively use English rather than simply memorize rules.

What sets me apart is my CELTA training, international teaching experience in Italy, online ESL teaching background, and academic background in Speech, Language and Hearing Science. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and improving.

I offer lessons for beginners to advanced learners, including children, teenagers, and adults who want to improve their English for conversation, school, travel, or professional goals.
